Effective Technique of Massage Face Treatment
There are Three Main Types of Facial Massage
1st Classic, with a variety of stroking and rubbing. For it is generally used a cream or massage oil. This massage will be very useful if: the skin is fading, the facial muscles lose tone, the skin is dehydrated, if you have scars, wrinkles, and you just want to look better.
2nd Plastic, which uses rhythmic, strong, pincher movements that go on the main lines of massage. It is usually carried with talc, no creams or oils. This massage is recommended if: the skin is faded, thinning of the hanging, the facial muscles lose tone, on this kind of face there is common rosacea, pigmentation, skin thin by nature, puffy face, swollen, or have facial wrinkles.
3rd Jacquet massage: stroking, kneading, deep tweaks vibration. Conducted with talc. This massage will help if you have: seborrhea, as well as scars, infiltrates, stagnant spots after acne, blackheads, thick epidermis. Its use is shown and after hygienic cleaning of the skin.
Begin the massage for treatment face with overlay pads of the thumbs of both hands on the back of the nose between the eyebrows. Through strong enough and even squeezing, slowly move your hands along the cheeks to the jawbone. This helps drain the blood from the veins and facial prepares the skin for the massage. Apply massage cream, gel or oil, and spread it evenly over the face.
- You can use the following recipe: wheat or oat flour, mix with the cream to a paste. The resulting paste has a strong cleansing effect on the skin, removing dying cells.
- Massage oil can be made by mixing half a cup of almond and castor oil.
Remember the main thing – touching the skin should be gentle and light, totally unacceptable high friction and tension!
One last caveat – the line of massage. This is important to massage the face, which should be followed strictly and massage the face on the main lines:
- on the side of the nose to the temples
- from the middle of the chin on the lower jaw to the ear lobe
- from the corners of the mouth to the bottom of the ear
- from the upper lip to the top of the ear
The massage of the eye is also different;
- the upper eyelid is massaged from the inner to the outer corner of the eye,
- lower eyelid, on the contrary, from the outside to the inside.
An important factor in facial massage is the observance of basic massage lines, it will allow you to not injure the skin and smooth out it in directions that will give the greatest cosmetic effect. Thus, the main lines of massage are as follows (see picture) :
– From the middle of the chin on the lower jaw to the ear lobe;
– From the corners of the mouth to the bottom of the ear,
– From the upper lip and nose wings in the upper part of the auricle;
– On the side of the nose – to the temples – the upper eyelid
– From the inner to the outer corner of the eye;
– Lower eyelid – from the outer to the inner corner of the eye;
– From the nose on the back of the nose to the tip and from the back of the nose down to the sides;
– From the middle of the forehead to the temples along the eyebrows and scalp;
– At the front of the neck upward;
– On the side of the neck down.
Effective Technique of Massage Face Treatment
Sit in a comfortable position, relax your shoulders and back, and start the face treatment: to do self-massage more comfortable, you can increase the tension of the skin, slightly parted lips and pulling the jaw slightly forward (like the pronunciation of the letter “O”).
Massage the forehead: the tips of the index, middle and ring fingers, place the middle of the forehead between the eyebrows and smooths the skin above the eyebrows to the temples alternately left and right hand. Each hand – 5 times. Then straighten the forehead in an upward direction from the brow to the border of the scalp. Left hand, press the left temple to fix the skin. Right hand slowly and gently stroking his forehead from his left temple to the right. Then change hands. Each side massage 10 fold.
Massage of the eye socket: close your eyes, the middle finger of your left hand push the outer corner of the left eye (the skin did not budge). Middle finger of the right hand massage from the outer corner of the eye along the lower eyelid to the inner corner, and from here on the upper eyelid to the outer corner (about 6 times). Then change hands and in the same way massage your skin around your right eye.
Massage cheeks: thumbs set near the corners of the lower jaw, and the pads of your index, middle and ring in the middle of the nose, and follow the pats to auricles through the zygomatic arch.
Massage the nose: one-by-one with left and right hand massage the back of the nose from the tip of the nose to the middle with middle and ring fingers (5 – 8 times).
Massage the mouth and chin: relax your face and open mouth, as if to say letter “O” (alternatively, you can pull the lips and cheeks inflate). Middle and ring fingers of both hands place near the nostrils. Smooth the skin with gentle circular movements in the direction of the ear (6 times). Sit up straight, bend your torso slightly forward and slightly tilt the head back. Position the lower lip at the top, index and middle finger of one hand, place the chin, ring-finger and little finger – under the chin. Alternately left and right hand (each – 5 times) make a stroking motion to the earlobe.
Neck massage: fold the head back to the right. With his left hand with the thumb make the massage your neck and upper chest from the bottom up. Then tilt the head back to the other side and do the same with his right hand stroking. At the end of the massage can be padded middle and index with fingers of both hands to do tapping movements on the forehead, around the eyes, on the cheeks (gradually descending down) on the chin. Then the continuous movement through the same point back to the forehead. This massage is most useful in young and middle age, when there are no sharply defined senile changes the face and neck, but the first signs of wilting as a slightly noticeable fine lines, wrinkles, dullness, dryness and flaking of the skin.
After massage remove the remnants of the cream with a cotton swab dipped in a cleaning tonic. After the procedure make a nutrient-softening mask.
