Effective Separate Food Diet

Separate food diet was one of the trendy diets some time ago. Since then, a considerable number of people have committed to this system.

They are those whom it helped to lose weight and maintain a healthy weight, be healthy and to establish digestion.

Separate food diet is a diet that is recommended to adhere to all life.

There is no need to starve and count calories, does not prohibit any products, do not give up the dinner, you just have to organize the food in a different way.

The ban on the combination of animal proteins with starchy food – this is the first and, perhaps, the most important rule of Separate Food Diet.

That is the meat (or fish) we eat not with the usual starchy side dish, but a salad of fresh vegetables.

Examples of incompatible products following Separate Food Diet are:

  • the fish and potatoes or rice,
  • meat and pasta,
  • chicken and potatoes,
  • sausage sandwich,
  • breaded fish,
  • flour based sauces for meat.

Due to this, a separate food “make an easy life” for our gastrointestinal tract. Academician Pavlov found that the processing of different food allocated different enzymes.

  1. Proteins cleaved in the acidic environment of the stomach, as carbohydrates do not need the alkaline medium.
  2. Moreover, cleavage of the protein requires more time. Therefore, protein foods can not be acquired in full if enters the body with carbohydrates.

When the protein and carbohydrate foods come together in the stomach, the nutrients can not be absorbed, and this leads to accumulation of toxins and toxic substances in the future, to the deposition of excess pounds.

Since the products of one group and the organism compatible products easier to digest, there is no process of fermentation and putrefaction in the intestine, the risk of constipation. The body is self-cleaning, do not need any additional methods of cleansing the body.

Main products:

  • Protein – meat, fish, nuts, eggs, legumes, soy.
  • Carbohydrates – sweet fruit, sugar, flour products, cereals and potatoes.
  • Fat – all vegetable and animal fats, including fat dairy products

Separately, it is recommended to use the products of the first and second group, and the products of the neutral group can be used together with the first two.

This is the main principle, detailed rules can be summarized in a table of compatibility of products for  Separate Food Diet.

Separate Food Diet

Compatible products for weight loss on a separate food (good, acceptable or poor) denotes positive, negative or zero values.

Melons are not compatible with any other products. Milk is also better to separate from other foods.

Meat, poultry, and fish should be meatless. During the processing it is necessary to remove the entire fat. For meat beneficial combination is with green and non-starchy vegetables, this combination neutralizes the harmful properties of animal proteins, helps their digestion and excretion of excess cholesterol from the blood. The combination of animal proteins with alcohol is not permitted, because alcohol precipitates the pepsin enzyme necessary for the digestion of animal protein.

Legumes – beans, soybeans, peas, lentils, etc. As starches, they are well combined with fats, especially digestible – vegetable oil and sour cream, but as a source of vegetable protein – with greens and starchy vegetables. Vegetable oil is a useful product, we have to use it in unrefined form.

Sugar, jam, syrups, confectionery. Consumption of sugar should be avoided. All sugars inhibit the secretion of gastric juice. If sweets are eaten with other foods, then stopping for a long time in the stomach, causing it to ferment. Acid regurgitation, heartburn are the results of this process. Honey is excluded from the category of sugars, as Honey is processed by digestive apparatus bees, and can be absorbed into the blood after 20 minutes. Thus honey does not load the liver and all other system.

Bread, cereals and potatoes. Starch in its pure form is extremely difficult digestible product. Bread is a separate food (e.g., we can eat it with butter) and is not required by the addition to each meals. However, the bread from the raw, whole grains can be eaten with any salad.

Acidic fruits and tomatoes. Acidic fruits are oranges, tangerines, grapefruits, pineapples, pomegranates, lemons, cranberries, sour-tasting apples, pears, plums, apricots and grapes. Tomatoes stand out from all the vegetables with high in acids – citric, malic, oxalic acid.

Semi-acid fruits: blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, strawberries, sweet to the taste of apples, cherries, plums, grapes, apricots, peaches. Sweet fruits, dried fruits. Acceptable combination with milk and nuts in a small amount because it’s hard to digest. But the best way not to combine fruit (sour and sweet) at all with anything, as they are absorbed in the intestine. There they must be not less than 15 – 20 minutes before meals. Especially strict this rule should be in respect of watermelons and cantaloupes.

Green and non-starchy vegetables. These include the tops of all edible plants (parsley, dill, celery, radish greens, beets), salad, cabbage, green onions, garlic, cucumbers, eggplant, bell peppers, green peas. Radishes, turnips, radishes and turnips – are half-starchy vegetables, which are combined with a variety of products rather abut the green and non-starchy.

Starchy vegetables: beets, carrots, horseradish, parsley and celery roots, pumpkin, zucchini and squash, cauliflower. The combination of these vegetables with sugar causes a strong fermentation, or other combinations are good or acceptable.

Milk – a separate food, not drink. Once in the stomach, the milk has to curl up under the influence of acidic juices. If the stomach is present in other foods, the milk particles envelop it, isolating from the gastric juice, the digestive process is delayed.

Cheese. The most acceptable cheeses – young homemade cheeses, i.e, a cross between cottage cheese and cheese. White cheese – it’s a useful protein product, which requires, however, soak in cold water from excessive salt.

Eggs: a combination with green and non-starchy vegetables neutralizes the harm of high cholesterol in the yolk.

Nuts contain easily digestible vegetable fats.

ADVANTAGES of Separate Food Diet

Nutritionists recommending this plan to their patients, note that this diet will:

  • Lose weight, mainly due to lower caloric intake and switching to healthier foods.
  • “Remove” bad breath. Get rid of constipation and dysbiosis, clean the intestines and then the whole body.
  • Get rid of some chronic diseases.

The arguments against a separate food:

Our ancestors always ate a mixed diet, the body is fully adapted to it.

A long-term continuous adherence to these rules in a separate feed will result to the fact that over time the digestive system gets used to the lower load, and return to a normal diet did not work, and one-time use of the wrong foods can lead to very serious problems.
